Planned features and improvements for Laravel AI Orbit.

Versioning Plan

The Laravel AI SDK reached stable 1.0, and Orbit's versioning reflects that:

• Orbit 2.x (current) — Targets the SDK's stable ^1.0 line. Breaking schema changes are documented as hand-written upgrade migrations (matching the SDK's own convention); the package ships create migrations only. The deprecated user_id column was removed from orbit_ai_runs in 2.0.0.
• Orbit 1.x (maintenance) — For apps still on SDK 0.10/0.11 (^1.3) or older (down to 0.6 on ^1.2). Additive only.
• Cache-rate pricing — SDK 1.0's inputTokens includes cached and cache-written tokens; the pricing matrix currently bills them at the base rate. Fine-grained uncachedInputTokens() / cacheReadInputTokens / cacheWriteInputTokens pricing is planned.
